Check your health, save your life

Your local NHS is now making it easier for you to stay healthier for longer with the help of
a free NHS Health Check.

NHS Hammersmith and Fulham will be offering the quick and simple check at – Loftus Road Stadium on Saturday 5th March, between 10am & 2.30pm.

We are offering health checks in partnership with QPR Community Trust. This means that if you come for a health check before 2.30pm you are eligible to receive one free ticket* to the
QPR vs Leicester City home game at Loftus Road Stadium at 3pm on 5th of March.

The Health Check is available to everyone aged between 40 and 74 and can see if you are at risk of developing serious health problems like heart disease, stroke, diabetes and kidney disease.

During the 20 minute Health Check, fully-trained healthcare professionals will ask questions about your lifestyle, family history, and current medication. They will record your weight, sex, height and measure things like your blood pressure to get your Health Check result. Your result will be explained in full at the end of the check.

Everyone who takes the free NHS Health Check will be given advice and information on improving their health. Anyone who needs more specialist help will be referred to a GP, or a more appropriate NHS service.

Health Checks are also available across the borough in five pharmacies or through your own GP surgery.
